Variant Work

Partner Terms

Last updated 13 October 2026 · version 2026-10-13 · draft, pending legal review

The short version
  • Signing up is free. You accept these terms online when you do.
  • Agencies buy jobs for their clients at a wholesale price and bill them themselves. Everyone else sends customers who pay us, and earns a share once the customer accepts the work.
  • The Scan API is billed per scan, monthly, after a free allowance.
  • Only scan apps you, or your client, own or are authorised to test.
  • No exclusivity, either way. Either of us can end the partnership with 30 days’ notice.

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between the company you sign up for (“you”, the “partner”) and Variant Work Consulting Agency S.L. (“Variant Work”, “we”, “us”), Via Laietana, 39, Planta 2, 08003 Barcelona, Spain. They add to our Terms of Service, which apply to every scan and job, including those you send us. Where the two differ on a partner matter, these terms win.

By signing up you confirm you may bind the company you name, and that it acts in the course of its business.

2. Partner types

We may change your type if it no longer describes how you work with us, with 30 days’ notice.

3. Referral links and the button

4. Wholesale jobs (agencies)

5. The white-label portal

6. The Scan API

7. Fees and payment

Prices exclude VAT, which is added where it applies. Card payments and invoices are handled by Stripe. Referral shares are paid through Stripe Connect; you need a verified Connect account to receive them, and shares wait for you until you have one.

8. No exclusivity

Neither of us is exclusive to the other. We may work with other partners in your market, and you may work with other providers.

9. Term and ending

10. Liability

Our liability to you is capped as in our Terms of Service: for a job, at what was paid for it; for the Scan API, at what you paid us for scans in the three months before the claim.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We will email you 30 days before a change that affects you takes effect, and ask you to accept the new version in the dashboard. Spanish law applies, and the courts of Barcelona have jurisdiction, as in our Terms of Service.
